Harlesden High Street w/ Underground Flower
Harlesden High Street, is a POC run space in London, the UK with a mission to bridge social and cultural gaps against the homogeneity found in the contemporary art world by centering the work of under-represented artists. It operates both as a gallery space and studio for our artists, running a short term residency and workshops, as well as engaging community outreach.
Underground Flower, is an offsite curatorial network based in Australia, China, and Hong Kong. It formalized as a network in 2019 after working together on projects concerning globalized subcultures for several years in our different geographical locations and staying connected online.
The partnership of Harlesden High Street and Underground Flower rises from their shared goals of working with artists overlooked by dominant discourses and of excavating obsolete or niche subcultures globally. This partnership aims to present works as lightweight, offsite exhibitions that speak to our contemporary world of both crisis and connection.
Harlesden High Street & Undergrund Flower are run by Jonny Tanna & Torre Alain, Ava Phen, Valerie You, Rasheed Mirza, Mandy El-Sayegh.

ThunderCage is an artist-run no-space located north of Paris in Aubervilliers created in April 2019 by Romain Vicari. In an urban context, the project welcomes two artists at each exhibition, in the form of a duel shows. The format is ephemeral and lasts the time of a Sunday. ThunderCage is not just a conventional exhibition space; it has a social role in Aubervilliers, a poor area in Paris. The dialogue created from the “Thundercage” exhibitions and its engagement with the neighborhood keeps the project alive.
ThnderCage is run by Romain Vicari.
